Stokeinteignhead is a small village in Devon England not far from South West
Coast of England. This is the sign at the fork in the road leading to the small
village.
Stokeinteignhead is probably much as it has been for hundreds
of years. There are only a few buildings in the center of the village. On the
left is the "main" street while the right is a picture of one of the dozen or
so buildings in the center of town.
A picture of the Church of St. Andrew, the Anglican church in
Stokeinteignhead. The earliest record of Seavey's that has been found is a
marriage performed in the church in 1538. Interestingly, the Diocese of Exeter
was the first diocese to begin keeping records of the common folk and had only
started in 1535 to keep those records.
