There seems to be a rash of robberies taking place all across the globe. I just
received this important news flash form our affiliated gallery in Paris: A Frenchman, who nearly got away with stealing several priceless paintings from the Louvre Museum in Paris, was captured only two blocks from the crime scene when his SUV ran out of gas. (incidentally gas is about $7.00 a gallon in France). When asked how he could mastermind such a grand theft, only to make such a stupid mistake, the thief replied: "Monsieur, I had no Monet to buy Degas to make the Van Gogh." |
