At the airport everyone boards the plane and the doors close. A voice comes over the speakers and says “ Welcome to XYZ airlines. You will notice that the doors closed automatically after you boarded. That is because this plane is operated entirely by AI (Artificial Intelligence) and there are no attendants or pilot on board. As soon as we get up to the correct altitude, a pair of robots will provide you with the customary drink and snacks. You will be able to ask the robots for a specific drink, just as before and the robots have been programmed to answer any of your questions. The plane has multiple back-up systems to prevent any unforeseen problems and nothing can go wrong…can go wrong…can go wrong…can go wrong…can go wrong. |
